My hair is faling out??????

so here is the deal i was hospitalized for over a week a month ago and went through a couple procedures and alot of staroids and meicin but it is a month later and my hair has been falling out magorly for 2 weeks i talked to the doc and he said it could be stress and he was looking through my report and said on top of eve3rything els i coulod also have a thiroid porblem becasue i have all the symptoms but isnt shur becasue i haev another problem to and they dont know if this is jsut stress any ideas or how to stop it im 14 and my hair is falling out i had really thick blond hair and now it is thin and i have a couple baled spots
