Whats so special about Charlie Sheen?

Im not trying to be a troll or anything. I just dont know why he is on the news so much. I know he was a drug addict. I heard that he gets 2 million an episode. Im guessing he has more than enough money for his childrens lifetime. Is he a greedy person? I watched some of this shows and they are funny. I just dont know why he is on the news so much
