Tanning question?

okk. soo i go to holly wood tans, and idk if you know but they make you buy this lotion, and i bought some and whatever...but i was thinking about not using that that this one time and putting on oil...like tanning oil that u lay out in the sun with and you get burnt? soo my question is do u think id get tan/burnt putting that on in a stand up booth?
