"Pit Bull" type breeds aren't allowed but was wondering about exceptions?

Why doesn't he ask the people that own the dogs how they got around it. I would just say hey, I noticed that you had such and such dog and I was wanting to get a similar type of dog but it says on the lease that you can't have the kind of dog that I want and that you have. So how did you get around the lease? Plain and simple. No one wil get their dog taken away because you would be asking how they got around it and not asking the place why they have it.
